Foliar Spray

Foliar herbicide application is a way of applying the chemical directly onto the targeted plant leaves as a spot treatment. Using backpack sprayers the herbicide is absorbed through the leaves and stems where they can either act directly on the foliage (contact herbicides) or move throughout the plant to kill the entire plant including the roots.
